These hoods are wonderful alone or under a blanket hood to keep your horse or pony cozy and warm during the winter months. They also help keep the covered area sleek; the snug fit against the hair helps the skin release natural oils. The whole hood is 50 inches. It measures roughly 7 inches from the nose to the center of the large eye hole, about 13 inches to the center of the ear holes...poll area. The cotton is nice and thick and the spandex adds the stretch needed for a custom fit. The zipper measures about 23 inches.
