Miniature Horse Adjustable 3/4 inch "MADE IN THE USA" Nylon Stable Halter has a Leather Breakaway Crown WITH quick snap
Our model is the miniature Donkey, Mocha of Connress', submitted to us by one of our loyal customers! Mocha is modeling one of our halters. Because the snap is attached to the crown, this halter can easily be put on and taken off without bending those "big beautiful ears!" Made of a narrower 3/4" webbing. There is a buckle adjustment at the rear of the noseband. Also, 1 buckle is located at the crown for a several inch adjustment.....is at the opposite end of the snap. The leather crown is safer to use on a horse or donkey because it will break easier than nylon if the horse gets in a situation where the halter is caught on an object. Finding the right halter size
Use a tape measure.
Nose measurement:Measure from justbelowthe cheekbone,around thenose,to just belowthe cheekbone on the other side.
Chin measurement:Measure from justbelowthe cheekbone,around thechin,to just belowthe cheekbone on the other side.
Throat measurement:Start at the ring near the eye where the crown strap is attached.Measure from the center of the ring, under and around the throat to the ring on the other side near the eye.
Crown measurement:Start just below the cheekbone, continue around the side of the face, over the poll and around the other side of the face to just below the cheek- bone on the other side.
On a “PROPER FITTING HALTER,” the noseband will cross the nose and end a THUMB’S WIDTH below the cheekbone on BOTH sides!
